Managing Your CRM on the POS (QSR/ Retail)

With Revel, you have the ability to create and edit customer records directly on the Point of Sale. You can also track and view a customer's purchase history, gift card balance, rewards balance, or House Account balance on the POS.

Creating a New Customer on the POS

To create a new customer on the POS:

  1. Tap Customers in the top left corner.
  2. Tap New Customer in the bottom right corner.
  3. In the Add a New Customer page, fill out the required fields (First Name, Last Name, and Phone Number) along with any other relevant details. Once your information is filled out, lower the keyboard and tap Save:


Viewing a Customer's Order History on the POS

To view a customer's order history on the POS:

  1. Tap Customers in the top left corner.
  2. Locate the customer whose history you want to view. Tap the customer’s name and select Display History:

  3. From the next window, choose from: Display All Orders, Display House Account Payments, or Display Outstanding Invoices:

  4. You will see a list of all past orders, based on your display orders choice. To view more details for a specific order, tap the blue > next to the order. From here, you can Reorder the items in a past order or Open a past order to see all details:

  5. Tap Cancel to close the screen.

Editing a Customer's Information on the POS

To edit a customer's information like basic details, gift card details, rewards balance, or House Account balance:

  1. Tap Customers in the top left corner.
  2. Locate the customer whose history you want to view. Tap the customer’s name and select Edit Info:

  3. If you need to edit any basic details like name, phone number, or email, locate the correct field and adjust the information. Once you are done, tap OK in the bottom right corner.
  4. To view the customer's gift card balances or link a gift card to the customer, tap the gift icon in the bottom left corner. In the Manage Gift Cards window, you will see all currently linked gift cards along with the current balances. If you want to unlink the card from the customer, tap the X button under the Unlink column. If you want to link a new gift card to the customer, tap Link Gift Card. Here, you can either swipe a plastic gift card on your credit card swipe or tap Manual and key in the gift card number. Once the gift card is successfully linked, you will see it appear in the Manage Gift Cards window. Tap Dismiss to close the window.
  5. To view the customer's reward points, tap the trophy icon in the bottom left corner. In the Manage Rewards window, you will see all currently linked rewards cards along with the current points and purchases. To unlink a rewards card from the customer, tap the X button under the Unlink column. Tap Dismiss to close the window.
  6. To view the customer's House Account balance, tap the House Account button in the bottom left corner. The left side of the screen will show all Unpaid House Account Activity by order as well as the House Account balance total. If the customer wants to make a partial or full payment, enter the Amount Tendered and then select the correct payment method. Tap Done to close the screen:

  7. Tap Cancel to exit the Edit Customer screen. Tap Dismiss to leave the Manage Customers screen.
