Configuring Wi-Fi use for the Epson TM-m30 Receipt Printer

Please follow the steps below for setting up a Wi-Fi connection for an Epson TM-m30 receipt printer:
*wi-fi version of the M30 is needed along with the wi-fi dongle

  1. Place the Epson TM-m30 printer in the desired location and connect the printer to power
  2. Install the Epson TM Utility app from the App Store onto one of the POS stations that is already connected to the Revel network
  3. Open the Epson TM Utility app
  4. Select Wi-Fi Setup Wizard
  5. Tap on Printer and select TM-m30
  6. Select Next
  7. When the printer was first connected to power, it should have already printed out a receipt showing the default IP address and the printer’s MAC address. If this receipt was NOT printed, then please select Not Printed and follow the steps listed on the Setup Wizard. If the receipt was printed then proceed to the next step.
  8. Select Printed
  9. Select Next
  10. You will be redirected to a webpage then the Settings app on the iPad will open, prompting to Install Profile
  11. Select Install
  12. Select Install (red text)
  13. Select Done
  14. Select Back to return to the Epson TM Utility app
  15. Open the Settings app on the iPad
  16. Select Wi-Fi
  17. Select the "EPSON_Printer” Network
  18. Go back to the Epson TM Utility app and it will automatically detect the Revel network that the iPad was connected to
  19. Select Next
  20. Tap on None and select WPA2-PSK(TKIP/AES)
  21. Select Next
  22. Tap on the box with the word “Passphrase” (greyed out) and enter the password for the Revel network
  23. Select Next
  24. Tap on the green button where it says “Auto (DHCP)”
  25. Enter the desired IP Address, EX: 192.168.22.205
  26. Select the section for Default gateway and enter the correct Gateway, EX: 192.168.22.1
  27. Confirm that all Network info is correct for the printer
  28. Select Set to Printer
  29. Go back to the Settings app and select Wi-Fi
  30. Tap on the Revel network to reconnect
  31. Select Next
  32. Select Test Print to ensure that the printed is properly connected
  33. Select Finish
  34. Go to the Management Console
  35. Select Establishment
  36. Select Peripherals
  37. Select Printers
  38. Setup the printer as a normal Epson printer, with the correct IP address for the printer
  39. Assign the printer to the desired POS station and save
  40. Refresh the POS to push the settings changes
