Checking cable connections for printers

  1. Trace the ethernet cable from the back of the printer to the router.
  2. If it is connected to a switch, try power cycling the switch (turn it off, wait few seconds, then turn it back on)
  3. Still no connection? Try plugging the ethernet cable directly to the Revel Router or on a different port.
  4. Check the back of the printer ethernet port LED light:

If the Right LED is off, then the printer network port is BAD. A printer replacement is needed.
