How to make an inventory item obsolete and still retain it for historical reporting

Items no longer used in inventory or product lists can be made inactive. This will retain all reporting information associated with that item. We do not allow deleting items for this purpose.

To make an item inactive, please go to the Management Console under the Products tab>select the Category and Subcategory in question, and under the Active (Yes/No) column, and select No for the product, and hit Save.
