APG And Cash Drawer Cables

By Amelia Dwyer

Follow

Cash Drawer cables are built with 2 types of heads on one cable, one RJ12 (phoneline) and the other RJ45 (ethernet).

On the cable itself, the model number will be taped, stating whether it is a CD-005A, CD-005B or CD-014A.

Epson Printers will use a CD-005A when it is directly connected to the cash drawer.

CD-005B is used for clients using a splitter, with 1 printer and 2 cash drawers.

STAR Printers use a CD-014A cable.

CD-101A can be used for both Epson & Star Printers. If wanting to split, use appropriate 05B(Epson) or 014B(Star) for split

DO NOT MIX AND MATCH CABLES.

DOING SO WILL BURN OUT THE CASH DRAWER'S MOTOR.

APG's tech support and RMA department can be reached 763-571-5000.

2 year warranty after the manufacture of the cash drawer. Please call to get a timely response.
