With Test Mode, you can train employees—and yourself!—to use the iPad component of your Revel POS system without affecting sales, inventory, etc. Most activity completed during Test Mode is not valid once you disable it after your dry runs. 

Warning: Credit card transactions can be refunded in Test Mode—please avoid accessing live orders in Test Mode! We are actively working to prevent access of live orders while in Test Mode. 

When Test Mode is enabled. there is the option of enabling "Kitchen Print." Enable this setting for "test orders" to be sent to the Kitchen. 

To Enable Test Mode:

   1. Log in to the iPad POS Platform

   2. Tap on the gear icon for Settings

   3. Tap on Manager

   4. Tap on POS Settings

   5. Go to Training Mode and "Enabled Test Mode"

 

When Test Mode is enabled the following message will flash red at the top of the screen. "Training Mode is enabled. Please disable it in Manager Settings to work normally."
