What do the fields mean in the Tills report?

In order to access the Tills Report go to: Management Console>Reports>Other Reports>Tills.

  • Starting Cash: What is already in the cash drawer at the open of business. This is the amount that the cashier sets as till amount prior to assuming his / her shift.

  • Declared Cash/Tips: What the cashier is taking out from the cash register as his / her tips for the day.

  • Expected Cash: The theoretical cash value that is added in the system with all the cash payments, set tills, pay outs and pay ins.

  • Variance: The cash difference of the expected cash minus the checkout cash reported.
