Offline Tills Management

By Robert | Updated

Offline till management allows users to close and make minor tweaks to existing tills from the Tills Report in the Management Console. This can be useful if tills were incorrectly counted or if the employee forgot to close the till at the end of day. The safe drop amount can also be modified.

All actions on tills from the Management Console are recorded in the Action Log.

Managing Tills in the Management Console

Once a till has been opened on the iPad POS, it can be modified from the Tills Report.

  1. From the Management Console, navigate to Reports > Other Reports > Tills:
  2. Select the time frame and filters at the top right area of the report.
  3. Click the pencil icon next to the till you want to modify:

    • If the till has been closed already, you may edit the declared cash and amount in safe drop:
    • If the till is held or still open, you may edit the cash and amount in safe drop, then close the till:
  4. Enter a comment in the remark field.
  5. Select Save or Close Till.

Note: We do not recommend closing a live till during business hours. If closed, employees at cash register will need to create a brand new till.
