Why does my Tax Report show my tax twice?

By Robert | Updated

When checking the Tax Report in the Management Console, there may be instances where it will display a duplication of a tax however; one of them will show a tax rate of 0.000. This means the tax that would have been applied has been removed via the “Remove Tax” action on the POS.

Any sales made with the tax removed will report as “Non-taxed sales” on the Sales Summary report.

The “Remove Tax” button can be removed and disabled on the POS, please contact the Support team to disable this feature.
