Setup: Backing Up QBO Data

To prevent data loss, we recommend that all clients back up their QuickBooks file prior to integration with Revel.

This will preserve a copy of your finances in case of emergency.



How to Back Up QBO Data

  1. This is the QuickBooks Online home screen. Navigate to the gear in the top right and click it:
  2. Under Tools, choose Export Data. This will start the QBO Backup Wizard:
  3. Under Reports select All Data and All Dates and hit Export to Excel.
  4. Then go to list and do the same:
