We recommend as part of our best practices that prior to integration with Revel, all clients backup their Quickbooks file.
This is intended to prevent any data loss during the process and preserve a copy of the client's finances in case of emergency.
This is the home page of Quickbooks Desktop. Access File Menu> Backup Company
Select 'Create Local Backup' This will open the Backup Wizard
Select Local Backup and press Next
Enter a File Path in the top line. This is where your Quickbooks Backup will be saved.
Choose Save it Now Press Next
Confirm the File Path and the Name which you Chose in step one. Press Save
Intuit will Verify the Data and make note of any errors.
Once you see this message, your Backup is complete. You are ready to integrate your Quickbooks into Revel.
