"An internal QuickBooks error occurred while trying to access the QuickBooks company data file" - QBDT/QBPOS Sync app Error

Error Message:

If you are seeing the error "An internal QuickBooks error occurred while trying to access the QuickBooks company data file" in their QBPOS Sync app, please follow these steps.

Resolution:

Close all files and restart the Computer. When the computer is back on, re-open the QBDT Company file and QBPOS Sync app and wait for sync to start again (please note - this may take up to an hour).

 If the issue persists, please contact Revel Support.
