To ensure system stability for you and your business, we roll out new software versions gradually over a period of 1-2 weeks. Your Management Console may not yet be updated with the new features in this article (how do I know what version I'm on?), but will be shortly if not.

On the Customer Display System versions 2.34 and newer, you can now add customizable branding and promotional images to the CDS or Customer Display System.

Configuring Settings

Settings for the Customer Display Screen must first be customized in the Management Console.

    1. Begin by navigating to the Settings tab. Under the settings menu, enter and select the checkbox for Customer Display System. The first setting you'll see is the Welcome Message box. When your Customer Display System is idle, text entered in this field will appear on the center of your CDS screen.

    2. Next, select the dropdown for Screen Organization. If Split Screen is enabled, promotional images are displayed on the left side of the CDS screen and order details on the right. If Full Screen is enabled, the CDS will only display the order details. When finished, click Save.
