"Authentication Needed" error - Intuit Payments

Issue

If you see the error message "Authentication Error", "Authentication Needed" or "Auth Token Failed" or similar relating to your Intuit payments, please follow these instructions step by step to resolve. 


Resolution

  1. Confirm how many company files the URL has under Settings QuickBooks:
  2. Click QuickBooks Payment:
  3. Click on Deactivate Save:
  4. Go back and select the correct company file >Activate > Save:
  5. You should then see the Green ON:
  6. Refresh the POS
  7. On the iPP350, click Yellow button and # to reboot pinpad
  8. Try processing a transaction again
