Issue
If you see the error message "Authentication Error", "Authentication Needed" or "Auth Token Failed" or similar relating to your Intuit payments, please follow these instructions step by step to resolve.
Resolution
- Update all Point of Sale terminals to version 2.51.12 or above using the normal upgrade procedure.
- Confirm how many company files the URL has under Settings > QuickBooks:
- Click QuickBooks Payment:
- Click on Deactivate > Save:
- Go back and select the correct company file >Activate > Save:
- You should then see the Green ON:
- Refresh the POS
- On the iPP350, click Yellow button and # to reboot pinpad
- Try processing a transaction again
