Saving and Changing Credit Card Details for Online Ordering

With Revel's Online Ordering platform, it's possible to save credit card details for future use. You can also edit any saved credit card details. 

Please note: This tutorial is for Mercury/ Vantiv hosted checkout. 


  1. To use the feature, create an account on the online ordering site and/or log in.
  2. Add products to your cart and click Checkout.
  3. On the payment screen, select Credit Card and check the Save for future payments box:1.png
  4. Click Proceed.
  5. You will be brought to the Vantiv Hosted Checkout page, enter your credit card information and click Submit.
  6. You are then brought to the Order Confirmation page. * At this point, the card information is stored for future orders.
  7. Create a new order while logged in as the same user, add products and click Checkout.
  8. You will now see a drop-down menu with the stored card information:2.png
  9. You may click the Choose Card menu and select Enter New Card to add another card, if desired:​

**To update or remove credit cards:

  1. Log in to the online ordering site.
  2. Click the menu on the top-right (it is the user's First Name).
  3. Select Payment Methods:3.png
  4. Here you can remove payments, or select a different card to be the default card.
  5. To remove, click the X next to the payment.
  6. A dialogue box appears, asking to confirm to remove the credit card. Click OK:4.png
  7. The payment method is now removed from the customer profile. You may need to refresh your web browser to see the change.

** Note that payment methods cannot be ADDED in the Payment Methods menu, only removed
** Payment methods can only be added from the Checkout page**
