With the 2.48 Revel Management Console version, you now have the ability require a manager PIN or cardswipe on the Point of Sale when employees clock in after their scheduled start times.
To require a manager PIN or cardswipe on the Point of Sale when employees clock in past their scheduled start times:
- On the Management Console, go to the Schedules tab.
- Then, go to the Time Sheet Rules tab:
- Check the box for Require Manager approval for late clockin.
- Once this setting is enabled, Require approval after how many minutes will appear. Here, put the number of minutes late an employee can be before manager approval is needed. You can also leave this field set to 0.
- Then, click Save:
Once the setting has been enabled on the Management Console, the below messages will appear on the point of sale when an employee clocks in after their scheduled start time:
